CLAIRVOYANCE, CLAIRSENTIENCE & CLAIRAUDIENCE

Understanding intuitive senses and spiritual perception

Many people feel, sense, or “just know” things they cannot always explain.

This is often described as intuition—but intuition can express itself in different ways. In the spiritual field, these ways are known as intuitive or psychic senses, also called the “clair senses.”

Understanding these senses can help you recognize how you naturally receive information and how your awareness works on a deeper level.

What are the clair senses?
The word “clair” comes from French and means “clear.”

Clair senses are ways of perceiving information beyond the physical senses. They are subtle forms of awareness that connect you to energy, consciousness, and intuitive insight.

Everyone has access to these senses, although some may be more naturally developed than others.

Clairvoyance (clear seeing)
Clairvoyance is the ability to receive information through images, symbols, or inner vision.

This may appear as:

  • mental images
  • visual impressions
  • symbolic visions
  • flashes of insight

Some people see colors, light, or movement in the energy field. Others receive more symbolic imagery that requires interpretation.

Clairsentience (clear feeling)
Clairsentience is the ability to feel energy and emotions within the body.

This can show up as:

  • sensing emotions of others
  • feeling energy shifts in a space
  • physical sensations linked to energy
  • deep empathic awareness

Many highly sensitive people (HSP) naturally experience this form strongly.

Clairaudience (clear hearing)
Clairaudience is the ability to receive information through inner hearing.

This may be experienced as:

  • hearing words internally
  • receiving guidance as thoughts that feel “given”
  • subtle inner voice or tone
  • energetic frequencies or sounds

It is often quiet and subtle, rather than loud or external.

Other intuitive senses
In addition to these three, there are more intuitive senses that can be present:

  • Claircognizance (clear knowing) → instant inner knowing without logical explanation
  • Clairalience (clear smelling) → sensing smells without a physical source
  • Clairgustance (clear tasting) → experiencing taste intuitively
  • Clairempathy → deeply feeling the emotional and energetic state of others

Each person has a unique combination of these senses.

How these senses work together
In practice, these senses rarely function separately.

Often, they overlap:

  • you may feel something (clairsentience) and see an image (clairvoyance)
  • or hear guidance (clairaudience) while knowing it is true (claircognizance)

This creates a layered way of receiving information.

A natural part of awareness
These abilities are not something “outside” of you—they are part of your natural awareness.

For some, they develop gradually.
For others, they have always been present.

They often become stronger when you begin to trust them.

In my work
In my sessions, I use a combination of these intuitive senses.

I receive information through feeling, seeing, and knowing—guided by your energy, your system, and the support of spiritual guides.

This allows me to tune into what is happening on a deeper level and to offer insight into your physical, emotional, and energetic state.

Closing
Understanding your intuitive senses is not about labeling yourself—it is about recognizing how you naturally perceive the world.

The more you become aware of this, the more you can trust your own inner guidance.

With love,

Gulschen
